Illuminated pilot car or escort car signs offer a premium, durable, back-lit signage option for the heavy haul industry.  These signs are made from a durable 14 gauge metal construction with a white powder coat painted finish.  The signs include white LED lighting for the sign box and four amber LED corner lights (2 signs, one facing each way).  The light system is wired through a 6-way trailer plug and has a unique feature that the front facing and rear facing lights can be turned on/off independantly.  INCOM carries spare parts for these signs to ensure compliance while on the road.  The sign is sold as shown and does not include any sign inserts, these must be purchased seperatly and will require two inserts (one for each side) to complete the sign.  Overall metal sign frame dimensions are 72" wide by 5" deep by 24-1/2" tall including mounting bracket and corner lights.  Sign frame requires the use of an additional support bracket (not supplied) due to wind pressure on front of sign during use.  Built to accomodate sign inserts of 13-1/2" x 71-1/2" - see below.  Sign not recommended for use at speeds above 80km/hr (50mph).  Some simple assembly is required, including mounting the light flashers on top.  (12-volt electrical).  Comparable to Barpek #BP708

If you require additional beacons to comply with standards in your region we offer our amber LED (#TS8201) that is commonly used for mounting to the top of the metal pilot car sign box.  It will require some drilling and wiring to complete the installation.
