Worded DOT Dangerous Goods Truck Placards & Labels

The Department of Transportation (DOT) is focused on the prevention of incidents when dangerous goods are imported, handled, or offered for transport.

 

Placards are displayed on vehicles and tanks to identify the risk of products being transported. Shipping labels are essential for packages that contain dangerous goods. Truck placards meet DOT placarding specifications of 49 CFR § 172.519 for hazardous materials identification.  ​Hazardous shipping labels meet DOT requirements of 49 CFR Part 172(E).
